Woodlands Work Party This Weekend - Saturday, February 2

Saturday, February 2, 9:00 AM Start.

Meet @ the Flintridge trailhead to build new multi-use trail(s) right in the Woodlands! This is part of the larger Spring Creek Project trail system.

Talon Trails will be out marking new trail (weather permitting) and volunteers will be cleaning up the 2 mile beginning loop from the hydro-axe initial cut.

Bring your own tools—cutters, axes.,hand saws, rakes etc. There will be other tools available, but more is better (make sure your name is on the handle for safe return!).

For more info, contact coachjoenoack@aol.com

Everyone volunteering at the work party can submit their Paydirt form. Even if you don’t race, you can qualify for some sweet prizes at the end of the racing season.

  1. Dear Ghorba Friends,

Thanks for your help today at the George Mitchell Nature Preserve on the Spring Creek Greenway. The two-mile trail loop is just the start of many miles of natural surface sustainable trails. Over the next few weeks we will be adding trail signage and other improvements. Check out springcreekgreenway.org for more details. Thanks again for your hard work and support.
