2002 GHORBA BOARD OF DIRECTORS
 |
Christina Case President
|
Chris has been President for nearly 4
years and is in her final year. She set the bar pretty high for her
successor. Chris is an engineer by trade and works for Enbridge
Energy, a natural gas and crude pipeline transportation company based in
Alberta, Canada. Chris rides for West End Bicycles in the TMBRA mountain bike series and dabbles in the Cyclo-cross series.
Chris is a tireless worker that does it all, trail-work, advocacy,
fund-raising, rider, mother (to her dog) and friend to all. Contact
Chris at jayhawkrider@yahoo.com

Russell Adams VP Trails
|
Russell is a lifer with GHORBA. He goes
above
and beyond in pursuit of great trails in the area. He attended an
IMBA Trail Building School to learn the proper techniques of trail
building and shares his knowledge with all of us. A new job has
taken much of Russell's time lately but he still manages to attend all of
the rained out work parties at Memorial Park. That's Russell talking
to Chris Case and Aaryn from IMBA at the Bikesport open house.

Neither of
these guys would send me a description of themselves so Chris hooked me up
with a photo bio of the two head-bangers.

Keith Porter Events
Evangelist

I got drafted, OK, I volunteered to be interim Events
Coordinator after the previous director resigned to spend more time
training and working. My first project was the Fat Tire Festival, a
labor of love. I had a blast working with everyone putting that
together. Well, they decided to keep me so I guess I did OK.
The next project was putting a new website together and you can see those
results. Now maybe I can get back to my job, Events. Easter
brings us a road trip to ride the Womble in Arkansas and then the Race in
the fall. You can reach me at
porterka@sbcglobal.net and don't forget to visit my website
