GHORBA and Houston FIT Hold Successful Skills Clinic at Sugar Land Memorial Park Grand Opening
GHORBA teamed up with Houston FIT Adventure Racing to lead an introductory skills clinic at the grand opening of the Sugar Land Memorial Park, Sugar Land Texas.
The Clinic targeted not only children but also adults to learn a little more about the fun and challenges of mountain biking. There was an obstacle course set up that was run by the Houston FIT Adventure Racing Team.
There are plans for opening miles of natural surface multi-use traills at the Park. Trails that will be available for walkers, hikers, trail runners, and cyclists. Currently a trail building firm, Talon Trails, is being contracted to start marking trails for the park. The city expects to break ground in January 2008 with the help of GHORBA
