GHORBA Elections 2006 - Vote!
We’ve gotten our slate of candidates. Thank you all who suggested new board members or stepped up to the plates to become regional representatives.
Now is the time to formalize the elections!
GHORBA members, please take the time to vote for the board of directors via our electronic voting system on our forum You have to be a registered forum user, but you can only vote once.
You’ll have to visit all the individual position’s [Poll] links to vote.
The candidate slate is as follows:
- President – Mike Lutomski
- Vice President – Kevin Highfield
- Treasurer / Membership Director – Clay Fenton
- Secretary – Veljko Roskar
- Race Director – Brian Thigpen
- Rider Representative – Bill Begnaud
- Community Outreach & Youth Education / Female Rider Representative – Candace Mann
- South Side/Jack Brooks Park – Steve Booker
- North Side Representative – Howard (Chet) Fielden
- West Side Representative – Jimmy Mann
- Central Representative – Chuck Campbell
- Bike Shop Representative – Tom Wurth
With the expanded leadership, GHORBA will have a larger foundation to accelerate the expansion of Houston trail networks even further in 2007.
The polls close this Friday, October 20th, at which time the positions become effective.
The GHORBA Board recommends a vote For each of the candidates.
